We are seeking an enthusiastic, empathetic, and innovative teacher to join our team. This role involves working with our ORS-funded students.
Designing and delivering highly customized, engaging learning programmes.
Championing inclusion by ensuring all students have equitable access to school life, both inside and outside the classroom.
Collaborating with whānau, specialist agencies (MoE, therapists), and classroom teachers to support student well-being and achievement.
Leading IEP meetings and maintaining accurate, respectful records of student progress.
A fully or provisionally registered teacher with a deep understanding of (or a strong desire to learn) special education practices.
A professional who views diversity as a strength
An educator with a proven track record of promoting inclusion, patience, and resilience.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a small team with kindness and clarity.
