Scale A Teacher Full-time, Permanent To commence: Term 3, 2026

We are seeking an enthusiastic, empathetic, and innovative teacher to join our team. This role involves working with our ORS-funded students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and delivering highly customized, engaging learning programmes.

• Championing inclusion by ensuring all students have equitable access to school life, both inside and outside the classroom.

• Collaborating with whānau, specialist agencies (MoE, therapists), and classroom teachers to support student well-being and achievement.

• Leading IEP meetings and maintaining accurate, respectful records of student progress.

What We Are Looking For:

• A fully or provisionally registered teacher with a deep understanding of (or a strong desire to learn) special education practices.

• A professional who views diversity as a strength 

• An educator with a proven track record of promoting inclusion, patience, and resilience.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a small team with kindness and clarity.
